t56 ?

started my car . released the clutch pedal while in neutral position. car jumped and died.

started it again put it into reverse and the car went forward. i then shifted into first gear and lost all gear engagement . car wouldnt drive in any gear position. just sat and revved like it was in neutral.

any ideas?

it was a new t56.

are you sure you have the shifter ball in the spot that it goes in? it is like a ball and there is a plastic bushing that it goes in. i would look there first.
