started my car . released the clutch pedal while in neutral position. car jumped and died. started it again put it into reverse and the car went forward. i then shifted into first gear and lost all gear engagement . car wouldnt drive in any gear position. just sat and revved like it was in neutral. any ideas?

are you sure you have the shifter ball in the spot that it goes in? it is like a ball and there is a plastic bushing that it goes in. i would look there first.

This is not the one you bought from Loyd? I was told it was and that you knew it might have issues, but not really sure of what they may be. I believe one of the shafts is broken probably the imput shaft but who knows with out tearing it apart etc...
