Default Can you recognize car types? (rant)

O.K. seriously, IF you were a ricer (and thats a big IF) would you be able to recongnize other cars in your class or not. I mean when I'm driving the SS, I can tell the cars that are in my general racing range, i.e. other camaros, TAs, Corvettes, Stangs ect. I know these because it behooves me to(know what I am or could be up against). Lately it seems when I in my DD, ricers always want to run. Now yes my DD looks alittle sporty bc it has some wheels on it but its a F***ING GEO METRO. Thats right, a whopping 55 horses from the giagantic 3 banger. Why can't they just recognize the fact that the car is a Geo (like it says on the back and front) and was built for gas economy and NOT racing. But hey, I guess maybe they just wanna know what it feels like to complety smoke a car (like we can do to most of them). Sorry just been getting on my nerves lately.

there is a huge difference between a 3cy and a 4 cy, but thats not my point. My point basically is, why can't they have the knowledge to see what car it is and it what it can or more over can't do. I can generally recognize a V-6 Camaro so I'm not going egg it on and waste my time to race it when I'm in the SS.

I just assume if the car in the lane next to me is faster, I'll probably still drive around him. So far 99% of the time I've been correct
