Default why only 12.9?

i ran a 12.9 friday night. i was pretty upset considering the mods i have. anyone have any opinions or suggestions?

.025 rt
1.7 60
12.9 1/4
104 mph

i have full exhaust,lid,tb,3200 stall, tune, and brand new bfg drags. i did drop my 60' from a 1.9 to a 1.7. so thats the only positive of the night.

Damn. With those mods, you should be more into the 12s, I would think.

i ran a stock 03 cobra for the first time, and put about 2 lengths on him out the hole, then at about 50-60mph he caught up and left my *** behind. he ran a 12.4 with only a k&n.

seems low on the mph for an LS1. Do you have the 2.73 gears?
