Playstation 3 This is getting INSANE! The last PS3 went for almost $4000 on ebay. Do people actually have to have one that bad!!!
Here's what I think: XBOX 360's easy to come by, to pacify your gaming needs buy one, Hell buy a XBOX 360 bundle. Wait 6 ~ 8 months then you should be able to buy a PS3 (this is a new system, probably will have bugs) with no bugs at store price.... Sell your XBOX 360 bundle for 2/3 of what you paid for it and apply that to the purchase of your PS3. That's just my $.2. Save Thousands of $$$$.

yeah, thats just retarded. Im not much of a gamer and if i do play, i play computer games. You could buy the best of the best computer and big *** tv to plug into if you wanted and play all the same games.

I passed by a Best Buy on my way into work today and as I am sitting in traffic I look and see 6 big tents. Now I use to be big into the whole thing but never enough to do what these people are doing. It seems that most of the time that the first released units are having some type of issue. I compare these people to the Star Wars geeks, to much time alone or with there buddies and not enough time doing something productive.

I work with a guy who likes to do stuff like buy 5-6 new consoles at a time when they first come out, then sell them on ebay for a huge profit. He said he did quite well when the PS2 came out, but the up-front costs and the risks involved just aren't worth it to me.
I'm a big gamer, but there isn't a compelling launch title for me to bo rush out and pay top dollar for a PS3.

I went to best buy on MONDAY, and there was people camping out. I asked a store employee how long they had been there, he said Saturday. It's amazing what some people will do to get a PS3.
