however you choose to look at it.

I would assume the more engines you purchase from a builder... the better your prices become... we will see.

Yea... I would more say that TRT uses HKE shortblocks in their builds. Erik builds motors.... not for any one shop... but you are right. When you purchase in volume... you get a better price.

I think the better point here is that Billy (Good rep for good builds) has made a great decision in going with Erik (Good rep for good builds).

I know I love my short block... heard her run for the first time last night.... yummmmy.

Very nice gain! Glad to hear of a poster satisfied with a sponsor! It's been quite the opposite lately it seems

Supprisingly, I haven't heard much of anything bad about one of our Texas sponsors in a long time. However there are a couple nonsponsors that are continually getting a bad rep....

Yeah, I guess you're right. I was thinking shops in general, but now that I think about, it I haven't heard a lot of negative stuff about our sponsors.

nothing pessimistic about it, i have heard many stories about places ******* customers in one way or another, so has Brandon, and most of them never make it to the net. I've never heard a bad word about Erik (reason why i deal with him) or TRT for that matter.

Yea I would agree with that whole statement... Erik and Billy are great guys and businesses. I have never heard one bad thing about either...

I have heard bad things about some of the sponsors... but usually the reason it never gets to the net is because it is taken care of by the sponsor after some communication. Kinda gives the vendor a chance to fix the problem before they get flamed publicly.

For most cars, its $300.00 w/o dyno and $350.00 with the dyno.
Being a smaller shop, I dont have a dyno, but there are a few within a couple of miles that we rent.

Well I gotta be fair... most of the work on my new setup is being done by Steve at PTMotorsports. Billy is helping here and there... lots of good advice and helping provide some of the parts. But Steve has done most the work so far. Its just too hard for Billy to come 2 hours south with all the work he has to do...

Either way it will be a good setup. Steve at PT Motorsports is a good dude just like Billy. Billy has always taken care of me and has become a good friend over the last couple years.... Infact I fully blame Billy for getting me addicted to Boost.
