To the original poster, check out the drag racing forum, do some searching in there and you'll find alot of information on how to get the best times out of your stock setup. Better techniques to launch, etc, etc.

my formula ran some 8.20's babying it out of the hole stock. put a little 224/228 cam in there and it went down to the 7.60 range. than came the bolt-ons and 12 bolt and the times dropped more and more. heads are almost done!

i would like to see some 7.0's out of it.

you should really do something with the tranny i was running consistant 9.4s in my camaro and with some shift kits and a slight tune i run consistant 8.9s
