driver side window troubles
driver side window troubles So I normally wash the car by hand but was kinda in a hurry and wanted to quickly get the rain spots off so I hit one of the local car washes. Sitting in the wash waiting for it to start when all the sudden water comes shooting in from the forward corner of the drivers side window.....
Over the past couple months the gap is getting bigger and I finally took it into a window shop to get it fixed. Thinking it was maybe off track or maybe one or two teeth broke....
The guy at the shop takes that interroir panel off to find the real problem... Well the driver side window was replaced and new rivits put back in, and in there lays the problem... The retard that put the rivits in didn't put them in tight and is now tearing away at the inside of the door.. so instead of having a 1/4 inch hole for the fastner it is now 1/4 inch by almost an inch long.... So now for the proper fix I need to replace the insdie of the door...
If anybody knows of a pewter interrior driver side door please post up
