frame question

frame question my g/f wrecked her 98 v6 camaro with 100k+ miles on it. collision shop just called her n said her frame was bent. i'm not sure but i think i remember hearing that a bent fbody frame = totalled? she doesnt have insurance or anything on the car. so if its totalled i guess shes going to have to part it out. the only thing really messed up is the front facia and the radiator. the headlights n blinkers even still work. it didnt seem like it was a big enough collision to bend the frame. is this true that a bent frame means its totalled? TIA
It depends on how bent it is and how it's repaired. However, the car is a 98 v6 and therefore might not even be worth the money to fix. Add in the cost of repair (if repairable), the front fascia, radiator, etc., and you're looking at possibly going over the value of the car in repairs. Good luck to her.
