seafoam should be 02sensor/Cat converter safe.

It aids in cleaning them out just keep driving around and the light should turn off.

I have seafoamed my car alot. No probs.....but i dont have cats

I think you will be fine. Mine sounded horrible when I was driving it and when it was idling while being poured in. It is all in your head....but the reason that is; because you are pouring foreign object liquid into your perfectly normal running engine.

update: just drove to the gf's house, the CE light turned off. the car does feel little better. maybe once i change the oil i will feel the difference.

on a side note. my car idled BAD when i took the hose off. but when i poured in the seafoam through hose, the engine would rev. that sound about right?

Normal. You were creating a vac leak...that was your bad idle. Seafoam is flammable. It was getting burned with the A/F mix. There was your high revs.

Are you cammed? Heads/Cam cars are even worse.

I seafoamed mine a couple of days before I sucked a bolt down the intake, when I pulled the heads off I couldn't believe how clean the pisions looked. IMO seafoam is the ****.
