Ive been trying to sell this guy my laptop on ebay for the last month, everything he says is fishy as hell and nothin makes since. heres whats happening
i have had (already sold to someone else) sony Vaio laptop.
this guy on ebay emailed me with 0 feedback and wanted to know what the buy it now price would be i told him 1800 plus shipping.
he says ok i want it shipped to africa where my son is and my brother will send u a check in america for 2500 usd. you use 200 for the shipping pluse the 1800 for the cost of the laptop and mail me the sony vaio plus 500 dollars to. the africa address.
he sent me the trackin number for the check ive been waiting for for 2500 dollars he told me to cash it and then immediatly send the laptop off and he will scdule a local pick up of fedex to come to my house when im ready.

I will like to let you know that you will be getting the check This Wednesday Morning...And here is the tracking number again 1Z3681Y70199758047 ..so you can have it tracked in www.ups.com/us in order for you to check the transit of the check...and make sure you will be getting the check this wednesday morning.So Secondly,The amount of money issued on the check was $2500 because i just called my cousin right now and he told me that he issued the sum of $2500 on the check .So what is going to happen right now is that i will want you to try as much as possible to have the check cashed the same day you recieve it.Probably if you can try and have the check cashed the same Morning/Afternoon you recieve the check because i will like the shipping to be performed this same Wednesday and if you know that you dont have the laptop with you right now,i will advice you to try and get the kind of specific laptop.SO about the shipping,i will like to let you know that i called my cousin that has the check of $2500 sent and he told me that you dont need to use the rest balance for the shipping after when your selling price is being deducted,he said he has a private fedex shipping account and it's going to be responsible for the shipping because he will be scheduling a pickup in your address and the NOtebook will be picked up in your Place..So in brief,the sum of $2500 that was sent to you,you are to deduct your selling price of $1800 which was meant for the Notebook im intending to purchase from you.Secondly,i will want you to have the extra sum of $200 deducted which i guess will be meant for the late response of the check and also the patience you got before the arrival of the check.
SO you are to deduct the sum of $2000 from the check and i will want you to assist me in sending the rest $500 to my son that i m having the notebook shipped to Firstly as soon as you have the check cashed.So as soona s the $500 is being sent,you can arrange for the Notebook and i will also be scheduing the Fedex shipping that will be picking the Notebook in your address.Email me back as soon as possible in order to notify me that you got my message and for me to provide you the information of my son that you will be having the $500 sent firstly as soon as you have the check cashed this wednesday.

this happened to my friend at work so i knw what his plans our.....
as soon as i cash the check and put it to my bank account he will bounce the check and it will be to late for me to do anything cus the laptop and 500 will already be shipped. or atleast that what he is hoping for

so i plan on mailing him a box of rocks.

i've heard of that scam before...sending rocks would be funny as hell too

tell him its his birthday, then tell him you dont give a **** its his birthday

 

Smells like to me. I've read about those guys from Africa and so forth trying to scam people on computer stuff. One guy burned them really good with the box of rocks trick!

Thats pretty sweet, sucks half the **** on the net is fake these days. About the laptop sale, deff sounds like a scam.

i had almost the same email and proposal when i sold my laptop on ebay....i told him that he is full of **** and do not email me anymore... the same story about africa....

That is too expensive, just wipe your *** with a pice of paper and mail it to him. If he, or it, can't get that message then I don't know what to say. Oh, yea I do, *** him or it.

 

imagine the ***** on that guy too... i mean not only is he trying to scam you out of a laptop... but hes also trying to scam u out of 500 dollars too?? some people these days...

 

pat just take a big **** in the box and send it to him with a roll of pissed on toilet paper, that would tick him off hardcore
