Pretty Funny Story

Maybe some help I know the engines aren't the same and the wiring is most likely different but when I had my 96 V6 My engine light started doing that. Took it to the dealer and they changed the O2 sensor on the side it was having trouble with. Well two minutes after driving it off the lot it came back on. Took it back. They changed plugs and coils on the that side. Few days latter light came back on. They changed the computer. Turned the car on to leave and the light came on. So at this point they have spent a fortune just changing things.....Guess what it was......come on Guess.......Ok it was the O2 sensors wire was routed wrong and had gotten rubbed raw and was shorting out. I bet that wire didn't cost all that much. And we wonder why the cost of cars is going up. They have to cover the cost of the techs just replacing things until it works.
So I might just suggest checking the O2 wire.
