I have it on video. Can anyone tell me how to uplaod just this one run from the video cassettes? I know how to uplaod from a memory card but not the video cassettes. PM if you can help or call my cell. I am going to best buy when we get home.

Your computer will have to have a firewire port. If it does, then Windows XP has windows movie maker that is real user friendly. Best Buy will guide you in the right direction. If they can't I'll do it for you, but I'm on the other side of town. Just let me know if I can help.

If your camera uses MiniDV tapes, odds are good that it has a Firewire port on it.
I use this card:

It came with the cable, and with Ulead's Video Studio, which is what I use to make my movies.
My camera (Canon Elura 100, uses MiniDV tapes) also functions in pass-through mode, so I can hook my old 8mm tape camera to it and pull in old videotapes (as well as my regular VCR).
