Default Bad experience at LRP

So we roll out to the track and are there for I don't know about .45393 seconds, and they decide that the track is wayyyy to wet to be running. I mean I know there is a hurricane/tornado/monsoon/tidal wave/tsunami/flash flood warning going on in Sealy but to close the track over humidity was asinine. Typical horrible business move by the John Hennessey name once again.

Print this **** out on a bussiness card:

Won't be going back to that **** hole.

yeah we drove all the way out to that **** hole just for us to get there MAKE US PAY and as we parked they shut down, we didn't even get out. Then they wouldn't give us our money back. My car wasn't even shut off before I heard the PA system saying that Lonestar was gonna scam everyone there for their cash and just give us rain checks when they know not everyone will use them. Great move to make a couple bucks quick John.

Yeah not giving money back for me driving in while the person at the gate knew that they were shut down and giving me a voucher to get back in is not scamming anyone... your right

So would you have been happier if you ran your car and the track was a little slick with the dew/fog/humidity etc. and you hit the wall and wrecked your ****??? What's wrong with a raincheck.. its the same thing? HRP or HMP would have done the same damm thing giving out rainchecks.

I think what he was saying was that the weather hadn't changed. He thinks they purposely waited until people paid their fees to cancel so they could get their revenue. Wouldn't surprise me.

That sucks but I have gotten a rain check from HRP in the past after it took a long time to clean up after a wreck and I didnt get a chance to run. Common practice, far as who ever was at the booth, maybe just bad timing. Situation sucks, but I dont think any other track would have hangled it any different.

sounds to me, and this is totally my outside opinion, that you are a ***** and need to get laid more and calm down. they gave you a FREE pass to get back in, they didn't "steal" or "fool" anyone in any way, they decided on something and took the RIGHT action so you can come back some other time.

Actually this was a good move. We rented the track from 4pm to 6pm and on our last pass we told them the track was getting way to slick to let cars run. They let about 12 cars down the track after us with numerous problems. I think it was a wise move on LSR and John to shut the track down. The track temp dropped 13 degrees in less than 10 minutes.

GOOD JOB TO THE LSR CREW

I'm very dissapointed also. I was in the same group as Slowta at the track tonight and recieved the same card. I understand giving a rain check if I had been there for a little bit...but I was literally there for 3 minutes. I would have appreciated it MUCH more if the lady at the booth had alerted me of the conditions of the track and told me that they were possibly going to shut it down. But no, I paid my 10 dollars to get in, 20 dollars in gas, and an hour and a half drive all for 3 minutes of congregating in the parking lot.

well that would make sense if that was the reason they closed the track, but it wasn't soooo your dumb. they said the humidity was causing the timing **** to not work, real shitty product it sounds like to me.

1/2 price really, get in twice for the cost of one admission.... either way its lame to come on here crying like a little bitch about something like this. is this really the biggest concern in your life? is it really that big of a deal? should YOU really be the one to cast the first stone?
