ok...I just talked to my Mom and Michelle is doing about the same right now, no real changes one way or the other. I guess I should have included a little back story on this in the orignial post, Michelle is my aunt married to my Mom's brother, Uncle Gary, and has been for ~12 years. Gary has had cancer himself twice previously, and our family has lost several members over the last 8 or so years, not so sound coulis(sp?) but we all know that the situation is out of our hands, and we all accept that God will take Michelle (or any of the rest of us for that matter) where she needs to be and we are just lucky to have had her in our lives for the time we have no matter how long that turns out to be. Thank you guys so much, I know I'll never meet the majority of you, but you are all great people and I/we can't thank you enough.

ok, so I talked to my uncle for an hour or so today and got some excellent news. I have a firm belief that with your guys prayers and thoughts these improvements were accomplished.
Last week Michelle was on a breathing machine, her body wasn't able to produce enough oxygen to keep her alive (but all other organs were working fine) at that point the machine was doing 100% of her breathing, as of this morning the machine had been pulled back to 36% meaning she is doing 64% of the work on her own, MEANING she is improving and her body is responding well to the new treatments. The doctors were very optimistic today and were actually talking about how much improvement and progress she has made in the last 2 days (as opposed to the gloom and doom attitude of the last 10 days) SO....I said all that to say this: THANK YOU!

Let's continue to pray for Michelle and her family so, God willing, that she will breathe 100% on her own! God is GREAT! May God continue to be with Michelle and her family through this tough ordeal and struggle.

Verdad Gallardo another good day today, the miracles keep coming... she woke up (they had her in a chemical induced coma) and was able to stay awake for a few minutes and wasn't showing to be in an unbearable amount of pain (which she has for a long time)
Just wanted to add one last thank you to everyone who has included Michelle and the entire family in their prayers, may God bless you and your's forever.
on one last note on this, Michelle has gotten progressivly worse over the last 10 days or so and has been back to relying 100% on the machines to keep her alive for the last 72 hours. Her daughters and my uncle have made the decision to take her off of life support tomorrow at noon.
Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers.

I will add this note, tonight will be a very long night. I would advise to find some comfort in God. Understand how someone lived and not how they died.. If that is what the Lord wants.

Though I have never known you, I loved you and will always love you. I am able to love because God loved first. Because of you, God has empowered thousands because though some may not have replied to this post they have read your prayers.
Michelle passed today at 1:13P.M., all 3 of her daughters and both her step sons and all of her granddaughters were there for her right to the end and the were with her when she went home. Thank you guys for your thoughts and prayers, it really is a Miracle how so many strangers can do so much and feel so much for other strangers. Thank you again for all you do guys!

Looks like Michelle's situation is having an effect on alot of us on this board. It just brings a smile to my face to see so many members admittting their faith to God. I prayed for Michelle and family and know God will watch over her and give her eternal life in heaven. Thanks to Michelle, I saw alot of wonderful prayers made by alot of wonderful people on this site. God bless Michelle, her family, and everyone on this board!!
