Exactly, stop telling us this place is SO bad. Tell us where we can hang out and dont have to be worrying about if our car is out there the next morning.

I have always stayed at the Red Lion @ 290 and I-35 when we go to Heatwave. Not too expensive but it's not Motel 6 either.

Just brought to my attention. If you want to or allready have them, I will taking some two-way hand held walkie talkies for car to car communications. They are really really really cheap like $45 bucks for a pair of BADASS ONES, cheaper ones are like $20 bucks a peice, plus some batteries. I also have a very very very good friend with a mini-truck who is also my paint and body man, stereo system specailist, and mechanic on the side with a s-10 loaded down with tools and what not just incase something happens on the way or while we are down there.

Ok A place that is great but probably can only handle a few 100 people is Tilted Kilt in Round Rock just of I35 and they have a website. They are part of a major shopping center that has way more parking then it ever has needed so everyone could park together and not worry about other cars. There are hotels around that area that no one have to worry about.

Another option is Bone Daddies on 183 and there are two resturants next door that have closed down and a nice hotel behind it. It can probably handle a few 100 people also.

If you are wanting something that is not as women waitress orientented then I would say Pluckers in Round Rock there is a huge Academy parking lot across the small 2 lane street that people could park in.

Or I am sure that some people have NEXTEL. IF they are willing to give out their two way # that is another way of staying in touch.
