acadamy dragstrip
acadamy dragstrip has anyone ran the track at acadamy in temple then ran at SA, Dallas, or Houston? wondering if you cut better times on these other tracks. i run at acadamy all the time, but never made it to another track. is it worth the trip.
just ordered my h/c package so money is a little tight right now(damn army paychecks!!!) i've been up to ennis before to see the pinks show being filmed, but didn't get the chance to run. i think when i get all the new stuff installed i'll make a trip up. hopefully i'll actually get some traction there

My rules of TAD are:
-don't go on Friday nights, waste of time, they don't prep the track, only go on Saturdays
-don't run if it cools down and dew sets in, the track gets slicker than snot (I nearly got sideways in a 15 second car at mid track!)
-if you're running faster than 11.0 you better have some good brakes on the car to make the left hand curve
I've cut mid 1.4x 60's at TAD, so it can hook in the right conditions. Never on Fridays tho.
