this is the way to handle things like that, and "flush out" the turd who turned you in....
whenever you talk to anyone around your neighborhood, somehow bring it up to them about the incident, and just say:
"a while back, i had a cop come to my house and told me that some little cumstain called them on me, saying that i was hauling *** through the neighborhood...i have a loud car, so it sounds like i'm going faster than i really am, if you're listening from inside the house, and i was really just going the speed limit. i hate little fucksticks like that...."
if it was them that did it, more often than not, you'll see some type of "flinchy" response from them when you tell them that, and you got your guilty party....people tend to not like getting called dirty names, especially when they think they're all high-and-mighty, above everyone else....
once you know who it was, though, don't do anything to them or their property that will get you in trouble, cause it's just not really worth it....just wait, and watch them....eventually they will probably do something that you can call the cops, homeowners association, etc. on them.....and the best part is that they'll never see it coming.
