I definitily need to get the wheels smaller! What is the best for 1/4 times... which is my concern..... 16's or 17's ?

I just thought something was wrong with the air/fuel ratio.... seemed very lean still.... and the numbers seemed very low.... just wasnt sure what was going on.... I wasnt looking for any gains in HP from a tune.... just that it should be at least in the 320-330 range... and my car was running lean when I brought it in there... wanted to get that taken care of.... main reason for the tune.

Does our cars come stock with 320 to the flywheel or to the rear wheel?

16's. The more sidewall the better.

did you change your spark plugs before the tune? i'd go with 15's or 16's. I think factory was something like 315 to the wheel. new O2 sensors would help. did jeff delete your rear O2's?

All modern factory HP #'s are rated to the flywheel, if your car is an automatic then you have to account for drivetrain loss.

My car is a manual.... they just put on new spark plugs with the longtube installation.... say 1,500 miles ago...

The O2 Sensors have about 60k on them on the front.... the rear have the O2 simulators plugged in.... he deleted the rear O2's for me... can I take the O2 simulators off the rear now since they arent working because of the delete?

I am posting up the dyno results on first page now.

Im new to reading these dyno sheets...... looks like my top end is 141 mph? Thinking those 20"s really are killing the top end speed as well!

Anyone want to trade for some 16's? lol

Dude...Do the math. Others have said Mustang dynos read about 10% lower than Dynojets.

320 x .10 = 32
320rwhp – 32rwhp = 288rwhp

Technically, you got what you were hoping for. With a better wheel/tire combo you could be around 330rwhp on a dynojet.

That is your top speed in 4th gear. Our cars pull the actual top speed in 5th gear.

You went from 278 rwhp to 289 rwhp. + 11 rwhp from tuning. That is about normal for the limited mods you have on the car.

So the moral of the story is?:

Know your stuff before you dyno

Smaller wheels

account for EVERYTHING

Bigger and better bolt on's before you invest on tune/dyno

Don't expect big #'s from bolt on's

RESEARCH

Most imporant, DONT badmouth anybody/place without prior knowledge

Jerry

and yes sell your O2 sims

Disagree. Find a shop that does either free or cheap re-tunes as your setup changes. Then it becomes VERY worthwhile.

exactly. but all he had was bolt on's. do a dyno tune when you have something worthwhile of a dyno tune so you can see big # increases not 10-15 or when you ar + that you are comming back with more things... but i can't agree more with you.

I was tuned with bolt on's and went from 311/321 to 353/362. Id say thats pretty worthwhile.
