I was thinking $3500 myself based on what I've seen.

you got a good deal from MTI, however those engines are sold for no less than 5000 in ebay. I'll wait for a week then i'll put it in ebay. eventhough i would like to sel it in Houston.

You might as well list it on ebay today because no one will bite at that price.

Ebay is not the going rate for parts, when people tend to use programs to boost the sell of their items all over that site now. Not to menchin scammers and non payers.
3,500.00 is the going rate, same offer i offered you in your thread in the for sale section around noon today, and same price everyone here knows what it will go for.

I recommend ebay. Most people here are smart and know the real value of something but on ebay there are very uninformed customers who will grossly overpay. Completely new turnkey crate LS2s are not much more than what you are asking, and people here know that. I've listed stuff for sale on a car-oriented forum and ebay at the same time in the past. Usually the item sells at the last minute for about double than the best offers from forum members.

okay, no more seller harassment. I'm sure he will learn if his best offer is $3500. If you break it down into useful parts:

LS2 block = $600
LS2 crank = $200
LS2 pistons/rods = $100
LS2 intake = $50
LS2 oil pan and f/r panels = $400
LS2 cam = free
LS2 lifters = $100
LS2 timing chain = $50
LS2(LS6) heads = $300/pair assembled
LS2 valvecovers = $50/pair
LS2 t-body = $120
Headgaskets and head bolts = $180

Total value in parts is about $2150.
