Back on the ATX streets soon...
Got this far (pic) on Saturday night. Wifey said I could not play with the car again on Sunday and had to spend time with her.
In any case, we'll finish her up in the next week or so and get a date with the dyno. Tony (Shepard) will be tuning it, so I'm expecting some nice numbers.
Big thanks to Solid95z (Scott), Rifleman (Matt), and Tony. They all helped tremendously on Saturday.
If any of the Houston street-racing gang are reading this, remember it's just a heads/cam LT1 when you come up here.
Uh, at least I put in solid motor mounts for uh... comfort and driveability.
Yep, just a street car here.
Thanks for the kind words guys. I'm like a little kid on Xmas eve. Want to open my present and play with it. Wish I could take off from work and get back under the car.
I'll post an update when we get her together.

Sean: can do
Joe: just give me a shout whenever you are heading this way
Joe-Michael: something can be arranged. Just don't drag me too hard.
Thomas: Yeah, the NX kit is staying on the car. Won't spray for a while. Want to get it all sorted out first on motor.

Cool. Sending PM.
It'll be a while. I have a long list of nagging little things that still need to be done before the car is 100% back together. Then I gotta schedule some dyno and motor break-in time. But when she's ready I'll def. be looking to have some fun.
Only let it run less than a minute. Cooling system not in yet and need to adhere to proper break-in procedures anyway.Tony's tune seems to be pretty damn close for a "guesstimate" that he just threw in the PCM the other night.
Have a couple issues that must first be overcome before the car can be driven. Like any big project, unforeseen **** comes up and bites you in the ***. Nothing major, but it's going to take some time and some tweaking before the Blue Beast is really back on the prowl.
Car is back together and actually made the street meet last weekend. A few board members actually caught a glimpse. Still untuned and runs like crap, but I'm happy that it even runs on the current PCM programming.
It idles at 850 but surges like hell trying to drive around. Coolant temp stays nice at about 180 and oil pressure is healthy. Can't wait to get the last few things done so that the fun can begin.
Trying to coordinate some dyno time when my tuner is available.
