Nope, UAE, Qatar, Baharain, Kuwait and a few others are really modernized. Very very rich countries

I concurr with the above statement other than Kuwait... They have lost sight of what "WE" the U.S did for them back in 90-91... I served during the Gulf War... spent time in Kuwait, Iraq, Saudi.... they loved us... Now, IMO they could give a s#$% less...

& Yes, i have been there recently...I was in Afghanistan from May 05- May 06...

Quattar is SWEET duty,, if you are Air Force/Civilian... We Army/Marines only visit for R&R....

My experience in Doha was not a pleasant one either... i'll leave it @ that..

LOL! I've been to those places you took pictures of. I also been around to the places where all the "BIG" houses at. Qatar is a very nice place for guys to check out. "Racing" is pretty cool over there. I was deployed there last year this time of the year. Big money I bet.
