I wouldnt do it... it sucks not having a car, but there are much better cars for $6500 (IMO). That and if you ever wanted to sell the car, the flood title would make it very hard to get that much for it.

My dads freind sent someone to look at it and he said it was in great conditon.My dad was going to buy it for me but i found my car so i backed out. Its a drive but its only like $90 to fly from DFW to Houston. Good luck and hope this helps.

ya he said the front has been repainted. In the pics it looks like the hood is a diff shade black, but it might just be the glare. When I test drove it a couple months ago. it was dark outside, so I couldnt tell anything.

If he will lie to the insurance company, he will lie to you to sell the car.
Even if he was telling the truth (I doubt it) $6500 is way to much for a salvage-titled car that has had that much damage and that many miles. Even the replacement parts have been put in on the cheap. I'll bet the "lifetime" warranty on the motor is for the usual as long as you [the seller] owns the car. It won't do you any good when it spins a bearing 1500 miles down the road. Keep looking.
