Snapped ANOTHER bolt....

Default Snapped ANOTHER bolt....

The bolt connecting the pressure plate to the flywheel.......impact gun snapped it right off...i dont own a torque wrench nor do i know the torque specs....

Anyone got one of these?

man suck huh? I broke so many damn bolts in my TA. Hence is why the valve cover is held on by 2 bolts and RTV

I hope your not using that impact gun to put the bolt on are you? If you are then you will continue to snap bolts. You should get a torque wrench, period.

i start eh screws, it just kept spinning. I got the torque wrench. But i still dotn know what the specs are...

Do not use an impact gun on that stuff. You will continue to cause yourself pain and suffering! I think there is a read at install university, or ls1howto

i impact everything on, just gotta now what setting to use and when to stop. Only things i torque down on vehicles are cam caps on OHC cars and heads on both types of engines.

Air tools = your friend that makes work easier and faster

That sukks bad, i allways impact on my flywheel, never happened to me yet.
