Default Ticket for No Registration

Can you get a ticket for no registration dismissed if you go and get the registration sticker? Just wondering since a friend of mine got pulled over yesterday and doesn't know if all she needs to do is go and get her registration sticker updated. I don't remember for sure, but I think you can get it dismissed. Anyone know for sure?

You have ten days to get it from the day you got the ticket.

How it worked for me once, just showed them the registration but still had to pay "court" cost, think it was Humble.

In Arlington you have to go and set a court date for a constable to go and inspect your car to see that it has been taken care of, then he goes and reports back to the judge. The judge then dismisses your ticket. Same goes for a no front plate ticket.

Im going through both at the moment...

Carrollton you just show them the receipt of the extra amount that you have to pay because you got the ticket. Then its $10 to get it dismissed.
