My only problem with how this is going down is that now teams won't give up **** for Carr. Not that his trade value was terribly high to begin with, but now that they know the Texans have no use for him, he's not worth as much.

Our O line did suck ***, but it's not all their fault, maybe if they had more confidence in their QB they would give it their all. Carr will do well somewhere else, he needs a fresh start. About him being efficient, I think anyone on ls1tech could be effecient throwing 2-3 yard passes all game during trash time. Essentially they traded a #2 pick this year for Schaub, moving down 2 spots is really not a big deal, we will still get an impact player somewhere, we have a lot of holes to fill. Next year will take care of itself. We may have overpaid a bit, but only time will tell.

The past few failed seasons should not set solely on David Carr’s shoulders. Poor management decisions and one of the worst strings of offensive lines ever assembled played a huge part. An atrocious defense a couple of those seasons didn’t help either.
