Default need a quick answer

a guy off ls1.com is selling me a ls2 flywheel(out of an 05 GTO). well when i contact him, he tells me that the ls7 clutch will not match up to the ls2 flywheel. he said they are different. now from my knowledge and everyone elses, the ls7 and ls2 flywheel are the same part number. should i just get it and blow off his .02, or is there anything i should know. lmk thanks

I would not buy a used flywheel. But the ls2 flywheel is the one that you need for a f-body with a ls7 clutch.
