maybe i'll go stall, but nitrous won't risk my rear end as much
I've had a 4400 on the stock 10bolt w/3.73s for a few years now. I just don't launch it hard.
It's interesting you're worried about your 10bolt with a stall which is pretty cheap and easy to fix if it breaks and you want nitrous on an otherwise stock motor which if it leans out by some misfortune the motor may have to be rebuilt, and you want to add that power to an otherwise stock tranny. My opinion is that if your worried about breaking something the stall would be the safer option. Even if you pay $200 or so to have it thrown in. A stall is worth around a half a second sometimes more.
i will have a FPSS just incase the fuel system fails and it does lean out, i will also have a window switch that will block out first gear and keep the spray to a safe rpm.
i'll only be spraying a 75 shot and i think the 4l60-e can take ~420 horsepower
