north star dragway
north star dragway has anyone from the board been out to northstar dragway formerly denton dragway? i like the track cause it is close to me but last year it went to **** (no track prep). Ive only been there twice since the new owner took over but i think they are doing great. on my first trip i got a new best of 7.01@101witha 1.58 60' on the bottle and this past saturday i ran a new best on motor of 7.60@91 witha a 1.73 60' keep in mind my car is full weight minus spare and sway bar and i weigh 270+ pounds!!!!!!!. Well i was just wanting to know if anyone from here runs out there cause it would be cool to meet new people from her.
I went out to the last KOTH race there. The track has improved 100 fold over what it was last year. Just to give an idea....I couldnt get better than 8.30's out of my Fomula with MT ET Radials last year, and just a few weeks ago I saw Jeff Naiser go 4.51 @ 16X.xx. Two different cars indeed, but there is no way in hell that car would have gone that fast with the poor condition of the track last year.
