Default Couple of quick, easy questions.

Got my used 6.0 liter-based longblock in yesterday. How do I get the knock sensors out of the "valley" without tearing anything up? Also, does anyone know what an iron block/aluminum head LSX longblock will weigh with no accessories? Me and my roommate set it in and out of a 4x4 Dodge and it didnt feel too heavy.

i believe there is about 70 or so pounds difference between the iron vs. alum., but thats comparing with a stock shaft, i dont know how much more with the big swinger you got

the knock sensors have 2 inner retainer clips. take 2 flat head screw drivers and press up against them in an upward fashion, they'll pop right off w/o a prob.

What are you talking about kid? This is a bone stock 6.0. Its probably gonna be sluggish with the setup Im going. No race car here for sure......You are the one with the lightweight, suspended car with a big cube solid roller motor.


and thanks kornfreak. I didnt want to **** them up trying to unplug them or unscrew them.
