even if the mavs are knocked out (which im sad to say is likely to happen), the rockets aren't going anywhere....they can't beat SA/PHX in a 7-game series

nice to see them win of course but they better play harder in game 6 or it will be over. playing at gs there will not be room for lettting them come back from a 21 pt lead.

BD barely touched Terry. He was going to pick up the ball and "nudged" terry out of the way. He could have done it a diff way, but I would hardly consider it pushing him out of bounds. Terry overreacted.

GSs entire team can shoot 3pointers. But youre right, they wont hit that many 3 pointers again. Just like Dallas wont close out the game on a 15-0 run again. Or make make their first ~9shots. Or get up 21 in the 2nd qtr(dallas was hot). There is alot that happened in that game that .. "wont happen every game". It goes both ways..

As said before, GS is better than a 42-40 record because they really woke up towards the end of the season. GS has some good players, that's for sure. I'm hoping the Mavs pull the series and continue on to round 2, but I'm not getting those hopes too high.

Sure do, because unlike your team I know the Rockets wouldnt lose to the Warriors. And yes I recall that series two years ago, we could and should have won every damn game besides game 7.

I think they can beat SA, but not PHX. SA plays the style of ball that suits the Rockets well, prob part of the reason we beat them on their home court multiple times this year. And even though we beat PHX at the end of the season I almost see them as being impossible to beat in a 7 game set, just to much offense.

i agree want the rockets to take championship home, but the second best thing to see is dallas lose against a 8th seed. the biggest fraud team in nba history

This is from Whowins.com
History and probabilty not on the side of the Mavs

HISTORICAL VICTORY PROBABILITIES: Leading 3-games-2:
Ignoring win order; ignoring site order: The team that leads 3-games-2 irrespective of site order (Golden State) has the following best-of-7 playoff series and games record through the 2006 MLB Finals:
series record, all best-of-7 sports, all rounds: 451-114 (.798)
series record, all best-of-7 sports, Prelim round: 92-24 (.793)
series record, NBA only, all rounds: 174-30 (.853)
series record, NBA only, Prelim round: 14-2 (.875)
Game 6 record, all best-of-7 sports, all rounds: 303-262 (.536)
Game 6 record, all best-of-7 sports, Prelim round: 69-47 (.595)
Game 6 record, NBA only, all rounds: 108-96 (.529)
Game 6 record, NBA only, Prelim round: 10-6 (.625)
These records are drawn from the applicable 989 best-of-7 NHL, NBA, and MLB series played through the 2006 MLB Finals. Note in general that the greater the number of games or series fitting a particular situation, the greater the significance of the corresponding winning fraction: For example, 0.800 is far more likely to come closer to the true winning fraction in a given situation when the corresponding win-loss record is 400-100 rather than 4-1.

I hope GS wins and finishes it 2nite but dallas is still good and tough to beat. GS is under-rated and deserves RESPECT. Whether GS wins 2nite, I feel it ain't that big of an upset because they got hott after the trade and everything seems like it's working out in a positive way. Their whole team is incredible and plays some physical D too..
Also if GS does win I would be worried about playing them in the next 2 rounds. They're that good I think

Go GS
