i would say if the person building it knows what he is doing it will last. i know of trucks running in the 10's 11's and 12's with built 4l60e, cars also with the same times but if it can handle the weight of a truck at those times i wouldnt say they are all junk

wait i thought a stall wouldnt kill the tranny that fast?
i just got my 3200ss and havent put it on. i got 112k miles on the tranny itself and also putting in a tranny cooler as well. think my tranny will die in a month?

4L60s arent cheap and to me not worth the money, I'm saving for a Th350 in mine when the time comes, I wont daily my car ever again, hasnt been since 04, so as long as my speedo functions, I dont care about loosing over drive. If the car was a daily driver it would be a different story.

Your gonna love this. Everyone. All that "grinding" wasn't grinding at all. It was the Y-Pipe screws! LOL Every bolt pratically came loose and made it look at though it had teretz. Lame I know but hell I am so f**king happy.
So is Danny. We got it done at Lethal. We heard that noise everytime we moved gears. Once the screws were tightened, done. No noise. Now we can go fourth with the head and cam package! 
"White Man" nothing to worry about. You'll be just fine.
