quick newbie question.. if you turn your ignition key to "ON" mode. do you have check gauage light on?? till you start the car??
what are the warning lights that supposed to come on when the car is on mode.
yes, my gas tank is more than half way full.
sometimes my car hesitate to start. i have to hold good 3-5 secs to start the car.. what could be goin out??
my car is 99 and has new optima (red) battery. if that helps any.

Could be your starter? What does it do exactly for those 3-5 seconds.

itz just tryin to start for 3-5 secs.. you know the normal sound..
could possibly be a leak in the fuel system..try turnin on the key and letting it sit for about 2-3 sec than start it...give the fuel pump time to prime the system........im just suggesting, i have a 82 Blazer with a LS1 in it and ran into the same problems..ended up being a cracked hose...now she runs like a champ....For the guy that bought her
