Does it bother anyone?
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time

+4 or 5 or whatever i am. hahaha
I think its going to be just like a 400rwhp camaro can beat a stock 400hp GTO. Its going to be the same concept IMO.
Thats the way it should be though, why would you want the last old plat form to be faster than the new one? It should be a progress of getting better, faster, more efficient, better handling and more advanced. The 4th gen came out in 93, LS1 in 98, by all means a car coming out some 16 years after the 4th gen should be better in every regard. The LT1 was awesome for its time, most people on here weren't old enough to remember them new, just as they weren't old enough to know 5.0s in their days of glory, and the next generation who will grow up with the 5th gen will think the same of 4th gens with the LS1 as being archaic as we now regard fox bodies and LT1 cars.
p.s....most the "hard core" 4th gen guys will jump ship and never look back once the 5th gens out.

LOL , say that now man, but when its about 9 or 10 years old, and you start getting all the little b.s problems just due to age and its not the new car any more, lot of people change their tune. Things change when you can go down to your local dealer and pick up a new Z28. I remember when a lot of the hard core 3rd gen guys I knew were going to the dark side [4th Gen]....
p.s Joe, I wont jump ship, just add ships to the armada, I have had the 93 for 7 years, hell Jons had his for 8, we havent sold ours yet! You on the other hand have been through 5 in the last 9 years, 1. 94 3.4 2. 94 B4C 355 M6 3. 01 Formula 347 A4/A3/M6/A3/M6 4. 97 30th Z28 355 M6 5. 01 Z28 408 A2

I have a feeling the new z28's will really be tempting me.
