I thought it was cool when he picked up Niki's power of strength when he was next to her after she hit Sylar with the street meter. I'm also pretty sure Peter can absorb the powers that Sylar has because he has used his telekinetic power before, if that is the case Peter will always have an advantage over Sylar.

Peter absorbs all the powers of anyone he is around and keeps them. He wins as far as superheroes go. He just hasnt figured out how to REALLY use his power yet. Of course if he did, it wouldn't be that much of a show, ya know. He would jsut flick his wrist and kill everyone in sight w/o even thinking.
