I picture Jackson's knees buckling after taking a counter right hook to the chin, then Big John is gonna have to rush in to save his life.

Chuck is the Champ for starters. But in a straight punch for punch tradin licks. I think Chuck will land alot more punchs then jackson.... The Tito fight with Chuck was a good example of chucks crisp Punchs. Chuck fights & throw at alot of Different Angles. I think that is why he knocks alot of guys out.

True Chuck is the champ, but you must remember the 205lb heavy hitters are starting to move over into the UFC. Wand still has not had his shot against Liddell yet.

Pride has DEPTH with its fighters in the 205 class, unlike the UFC. Tito is wearing out, but I do know why you mean with the Iceman's strikes.

That's what everyone said about Pride's heavyweights and you saw what happen to the guy that was supposed to "clean house" in that division. He suffered one of the worst knockouts in UFC history.

It should be a good fight this weekend.

as I said, a punch can knock ANYONE out. Cro Cop is not known for his chin either.

Big thing though is that he has now built a cage in his house and is training there. He said once he gets the UFC heavyweight belt, he will retire from the MMA.

I have to agree on the Tito wearing out. He has not beat anyone worth while & has yet to get past chuck. He may as well be #2 in the 205 class.

Do any of you watch the Beuadog fights? What kind of fighters are these & how are they different from UFC & PRIDE?

Bodog is pretty good. Most of them are young but will be a good place to find new talent.

I personally like watching the International Fight League.

Yeah i want to get in some local fighting here in DFW. But I need to get on over at Guy Metzgers gym in Forney & finding the time to go train with Work & kids is tough. But I do enjoy watching Fighting & particpating in it.

What channel is the International Fight League on & what days & time's. I will start looking out for it.

Bodog (online gambling co.) started their independent fighting league in which they have found alot of new and young talent, as MMA grows everyday and is taking out boxing. I have watched a handful of fights and been to watch other fighting events in Austin as well.

Liddel is a striker, sometimes can be wild trying to go for the knockout. In which Jackson likes to get close and also try to get inside, and if possible work on the Ground and Pound. He has pretty good stand-up as well.

Jackson also has a good chin and heart, i have seen him def work to win, and yes granted he has been in a slump, but losing to Wand and Shogun isn't that bad considering they are the finest fighters in the 205 class.

Who knows, fighting is fighting when it comes down to it. A punch, or kick can end any fight.

And like SEBLS1 should know as he stated he fights, you go into the ring with a game plan, but the moment you get hit, plans go out the window, and talent and practice is what pays off.

After my knee surgery on June 11th, I hope to get back in the gym and start training with a good friend of mine at school... get back into shape.

I have seen it sometimes on FSN, and I must say they have some talent in there as well... It wont be long before they(UFC) start picking up undercard fighters from the IFL from what I have seen.

We train out in Sachsee if you want to do some Grappling. There is a 6.4 240lb guy that Grapples & I can't wait to grapple with him. I enjoy Grappling more in training. I don't get hurt in grappling. But when I spare I always have pains in my Elbow from thowing Jabs & punchs.

I think Chuck will be very stand offish in the 1st run & let Rampage come to him rather then Chuck pushing the fight. One thing is for sure that I agree with you on. Rampage is brutal up close. He has the weight & the size & power to push his body around in a close up fight. But I think chuck knows he needs to keep his distance with Jackson in this fight. I predict it going to the 3rd round & chuck knocking Jackson out or getting knocked out.

Based on my experience in MMA (practicing) and being a fan. I'm going to say Jackson wins this fight but by decision. Of course, the last time I made a prediction saying that Pride fighters were much more talented then UFC fighters, maybe 4 minutes later after saying that, CroCop was stone cold knocked out and folded like a lawn chair. So, sufice to say I don't have any creditability and I've been doing this stuff since we called it "FreeStyle Fighting" and "ValeTudo"

I find the opposite. I always sprain ankles and so forth working take downs but NEVER get hurt working ThaiBoxing / w/Thaiboxing rules. Goes to show everybody gets hurt doing different things. A couple of shiners and bone spurs never got me down, not being able to walk really upsets me But I'm old (30)
