It's time for the culture to end the glorification of intoxication. At a minimum the penalties for driving under the influence need to become severe enough to deter.

Very sorry to hear this. I have a family member who has a very close call on the Interstate this past weekend because of a reckless & careless driver who had been drinking.

sorry about your loss. i heard about this yesterday but i had no idea he was related to anyone on the board. my neighbor has wrecked 2 bikes in the last month or so, there is no way i would get on one of those things

As far as the policies for drunk driving I agree these people keep driving drunk and getting busted and nothing really happens till they kill someone. Its total BS and Im tired of it. If you drive drunk and do it repeatedly I feel the punishment should be MUCH more harsh.
