Default Looking for work in Houston

Finished my time in the Marines and as a civilian contractor back in the sandbox and wanting to know if anyone knows of a job in Houston, preferably NW like Tomball, The Woodlands, Cypress area. Full-time or part time it doesn't matter. I've just gotten back from Iraq a few weeks ago and now for the first time in almost 6 years need to find a local job. If this helps, I've been doing HVAC/Electrical/Power generation work for all those years. But I wouldn't mind a change of fields now, especially since I'll be starting school for my BSN in a few months. I've submitted my resume to a few places but just want to see what is out there. I consider myself very smart, hard working, dedicated, a people person, I know computers and have been in management too, but I by no means expect a management position right away. Needing something that pays somewhere around $10 a hour.

have you tried www.militaryhire.com ? or monster??? there are a ton of jobs in Houston right now, you should not have an issue marketing yourself being prior service.

Who did you contract for over here and what base?

Try www.bradley-morris.com , it's strictly for military people that are looking for civilian work.
