Default Anyone work for Charter Cable?

My high speed internet at the house has been jacked up for a few weeks now. I have had a tech come to the house and he said they needed to have a "line tech" come out to fix it and he would be out on 5/29. Well no one shows so I call and was told it got moved to 6/2. No one shows again, so I call and get told they have a 7-10 day period of time to get it done when they find out about it. After calling again on 6/12 to get a status update I am told they moved the appointment to 6/29

I have tried calling the corporate escalation desk 3 days in a row only to be told I will receive a call within 24hrs.

Is there anyone that has any ideas as to what the hell is going on with them or what I can do?

i've had similar experiences with charter. ive actually had pretty good results with making irate calls to them. make sure you get a refund for downtime. i got so pissed off at them once that i demanded that they only charge me $30 for my internet service instead of $50, and they did.

Sucks to hear man. I hope they are giving you credit since the first time you called about the issue. I had a similar prob with Time Warner and they started crediting my account since my first call.
