Broken piston maybe??

bY LOOKING AT THE PISTON IT WOULD INDICATE THAT YOU PULLED A RING LAND. THAT CAN HAPPEN AS OTHERS HAVE SAID IF THE RING GAP IS NOT LOOSE ENOUGH AND THEY BUTT. YOU REALLY CAN'T TELL IF THERE WAS DETONATION. IS THIS AN N/A CAR OR WAS IT SPRAYED OR BOOSTED. FORGED PISTONS I AM SURE..... ALSO YOU NEED TO FLOW YOUR NEW INJECTORS; I HAVE SEEN NEW INJECTORS THAT ARE BAD ON SEVERAL OCCASSIONS. IF THAT CYLINDER LEANED OUT IT COULD CAUSE EXCESSIVE HEAT AND THE SAME THING COULD HAPPEN.LOL A GOOD PERFORMANCE ENGINE BUILDER COULD TELL YOU WHAT HAPPENED. MAKE SURE YOU FIND A GOOD ONE. I NEVER RELY ON CRATE MOTORS OR SHORT BLOCKS THAT ARE MASS PRODUCED. USUALLY NOT ENOUGH MACHINING; NOT ENOUGH CARE TAKEN IN TOLERANCES. LITTLE THINGS CAN MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE. LOL

I plan on calling the installation shop either today or tomorrow to discuss the problem. I still dont know what exactly to say to come across properly that they were at fault. The shop should have checked the size of the heads as the CC was only 59! I was told repetitavely that the heads would work fine and that they would just be down on power.
I guess your goat can once again run circles around my broken camaro!
