dude they do that for safety reasons. The bike cop radars and the car will stop them. And don't say bs like we have nothing better to do. That pisses me off. You have no clue what you are talking about. And just for your info Texas gives us a mandatory grant we have to use for speeding enforcement. the reason all those guys are out there on 59 is because they have to be. Its funny how everyone hates cops until they actually need one on there side.

Just a question. Why do we get mad at cops for catching violators? If we did not have them it would chaos. If you are going faster than the posted safety speed and you get caught, it is not the cops fault. If a cop is walking the median and picks out violations, it is not the cops fault. It is a business for them to inforce the given laws to keep people and you safe. You know people are going to violate laws on the road so the city fines you for it. It is a money making business. People will always break laws. The city knows this and they will make money on it. They want it to impose fines to keep you from doing it but if you do it, you will pay. It's like getting caught with your hand in the cookie jar. You know you are not suppose to be in there but if you get caught, then you *** will get beat. The cops HAVE to be sneaky about catching people. They can't make it obvious or it would not work.

Don't get me wrong. I hope every day that I don't get caught for doing something while driving. If I do then I can't get mad at the cops.

Traffic cops can eat **** as far as im concerned. Patrol officers are more my kind of police. Why do you think when someone gets their *** chewed they are told that if they dont watch it they will be busted down to traffic duty. traffic cops are ever looked down upon by other officers. There are no "quotas" so to speak but you better believe they get their *** chewed if they dont write enough tickets or have a certain amout of cars pulled over per shift.

dude you are an idiot. Traffic cops are not lower and looked down upon. They chose to do that job. And BTW they dont get these asses chewed for not writtign tickets. Its Officers discretion to write a ticket but they do need to make stops.

Your right. I never write bad tickets. Unless Im 100% positive that person was the car that was speeding I wont write. Thats why I have never had to go to court for a ticket yet. Have a nice day

Now that CERTAINLY qualifies as pigs....but I doubt its true. I've asked cops to give me a ride home when I was slobbering drunk before and they obliged.

you're goddamned right it makes traffic worse when cops are around. i've seen it plenty of times, first-hand.

i've seen people go 10 mph UNDER the limit because there was a cop driving in the same direction....going 55 in a 65......and i'll be fucked sideways if at least 3 - 4 scaredy, non-driving ******** will be holding up traffic for a mile because they won't go faster than the cop, even though the posted limit is 10 mph faster than what the cop is going. and i'm not talking about a cop driving with his lights/siren on, either......he's just cruising around in slow-motion, just waiting to catch the people that run up on his *** going too fast.

i've been going down 45 into houston before, and there was a cop on the ******* feeder road, stopped, and out of his car, and traffic on the highway itself was 10 - 15 mph UNDER the speed limit, until just after passing up the cop's location, then all of a sudden it jumps back up to normal speed. and there was no wreck....just a cop with someone pulled over....nothing to see.

so please, tell me again that a cop being around doesn't sometimes make traffic worse?

i'm not saying that you can really do much about it, and yes, there are benefits to having cops out there, too.....but if you don't believe that cops being out there causes some problems.....well, you're just naive

haha, that's pretty awesome!

I don't ever call cops slang names, but.....

Pigs=cops that are pieces of crap, such as these BCS cops
that's a load of ****, if they are really doing that. so basically, people get harassed and punished for trying to do the right thing. way to ******* go, douchebags.....

cops like this should just be straight up shot....the only time they should be messing with people like this is if they are causing trouble in public while waiting for their ride.....but if they **** with someone who's drunk, but causing no trouble, just waiting for their ride.....they need to be shot. end of story.

Yeah I understand that if I am going over the speed limit, I am breaking the law. But is going 8mph over the speed limit putting anyone in danger? Basically if I am going with the flow of traffic, whether its 30mph or 80mph in whatever speed limit zone does it really matter? Can't cops be doing something more productive?

I highly doubt someone that stole a car, or has a large quantity of drugs in their car will be going 15 mph over the speed limit and attracting attention. Not saying it doesn't happen, but saying it doesn't happen enough to warrant pulling someone over cause they were breaking the speed limit. I am not putting anyone in danger when I am sober, driving at 90mph on I-10 at 3am when its pretty much empty.

I hate cops. I have gone to them awhile ago when I needed them and they brushed me off. It is a good feeling whenever I run into a nice cop, but generally the experience that I have had is negative and I curse at ever single one that I see.

No **** right there. I went to Austin for a weekend, came back (was living in Houston) and my Jeep got broken into. I KNOW who did it. When I pulled into the apartment complexes parking garage, they were parked next to my car. They pulled out when I pulled in. I called the police IMMEDIATELY and told them that they were getting away. 5 minutes later, a squad car drives by.... and keeps going. I call back, and dispatch tells me that he MUST be on another call. An hour later, as I was waiting for the police, the guys that stole my **** CAME BACK to the complex (they had a friend living there). I got all his info, license plate.. where his friend lived.. all that.

BTW-You should have seen his face when I asked him about my Jeep. He was like "The only thing I saw was a Corvette.. no Camaro drive in. I was like "Yea, thats my other car." Cop showed up an hour and a half later (I called 911 at midnight on a Sunday, they didnt show up until 2:30am)

Anywho, I gave the officer all the info.. and never heard another thing again. They stole my $1200 paintball gun and about $400 in tools (was going to aircraft maintenance school and didnt want to carry all my tools up 3 flights of stairs).

Sorry for the rant, but that right there is why I dis-like officers of the law.

Cops don't have any problem issuing me a citation, but when I need them.... where are they? And yes, I know I was breaking the law. I don't get angry with cops, I get angry at technology.... All of my tickets for the last 5 years (less than a handful) have been from an officer using laser (gotta love my V1). Its easy for someone to say that cops are doing their jobs when they issue a ticket... but why don't they do their jobs in a timely manner when a tax payer needs help (we don't need help when we are speeding down the freeway)?

911 is a joke.......

yea some cops really dont quite understand some situations. I was working at a gym and had to call the police to remove people playing basketball because they had no memberships, were harrassing members, and snuck in and refused to leave. as soon as the police came the bolted over the fence and the cop came in and couldnt find them so he spent 5-10 minutes chewing me out for calling 911.

some police are not quite up to par, others ive ran into are extremely considerate, just depends on all those factors.

You mean you had a 403rwhp WS6/SS and you alway's went the speed limit....... Come on now...........All cops are hypicrits in my opinion they all break the law just as much as the next guy they just get paid to do it, unlike the rest of us who have to pay to do it.........I ain't mad at ya, but let's just be REAL here

BTW I have never needed a cop around to save my ***..... I dig my own holes and get myself outa them.

Funny thing is, when a cop is using radar unless the car is all alone the gun can only hit a group of cars. Then the officer must decide which car is the one speeding. Yeah it 100% foolproof

Write me a BS ticket and see if you don't come to court and watch me win.
