Find out if you have any say so about your cabinet situations. A lot of new subdivisions are only installing cabinets that are mostly particle board based. They might look good for now but will not hold up down the road. If you plan on staying in the house for quite sometime, its well worth it to get better/stronger cabinets. Once the cheap boarding gets wet, it starts to seperate and you dont want to pay that much money for a home and have that happen.
