the legit sellers with REAL websites rarely have a dog for breeding that it much over 60 pounds.

Pitbulls are one of the only breeds that dont have a breed standard. They were bred to be working dogs and are opening intermixed between atleast 10 lines. If you look back 20 years there are documented cases of 100 lb males and 80 lb females. Typically for fighting and hunting that was a draw back, which is why often times, the larger dogs were not bred. There are some mastiff diluted ones running around. But I have seen some very large males and females kill hogs which is what they are meant to do. I was a breeder and still have many friends with 30+ dogs that all sell for atleast $1K. Most of the market shift has gone to 100lbers since its become "cool". So cut the guy some slack. You dont have all the answers.
