San Antonio Machine Shop I need a machine shop in the San Antonio area. I'm looking to get a rotating assembly balanced. The pins are press-fit, so I need a shop that can remove the pins from the pistons and then reassemble them when they're done (I've already called two who told me they don't do that). I don't need a regrind or anything like that, just a balance.
This is also the first time I'm rebuilding an engine, so I'd like a shop that isn't going to jerk me around either. Car Craft routinely quotes the shops they go to charging around $180, so that's my price point.
