It depends. The lake should be open by then, so that's always a good option. If you're into baseball, the Round Rock Express are in town. The bar scene is always good, but it depends what you want. If you just want to get hammered, 6th St. is always a good option - cheap and young tail. 
But if you're looking for a 20-something crowd with more of a relaxed atmosphere (relatively speaking), 4th St. and west 6th are your best options.
