I have always wanted an English Mastiff. The only thing that keeps me from getting one is knowing how much they eat and how big their turds are!!

I used to know someone who had one and when he wanted in, he would stand up on his back legs and look down into the rear sliding glass window. He would stretch over 6ft and would step over the scissor style child door on their back porch. They had a little saddle for him to give their kids rides on. Very good dog, protective of the family yet extremely gentle with toddlers.

I will still have one someday when I have a big back yard or a horrible neighbor so I can throw my dog's crap on his lawn.

my girlfriends parents have one and the worst thing about them is how much they drool. They go through a paper towel roll a day just cleaning up slobber. Nasty stuff to, about like snot.

that link didn't prove anything. it's common knowledge that mastiffs get that big but that picture is altered.
