Okay, does anyone know the answer to this problem. I bought a car today in La. and the dude took the plates to turn in. I plan on registering the car this week sometime. Can I drive the car with no plates till then? Alls I have is the bill of sale. Asked a cop friend of mine and he wasn't sure.
