Houston Paper Tags

Anyone work for a dealership that can give me a paper tag for my Jeep?

I just bought a Jeep Wrangler on ebay, never registered in Tx so no inspection and no plates. I pick it up on Saturday and I don't want to drive from Denton to Houston w/o plates.

I know, but they were giving me hell about not having the Jeep on my official insurance card, only on the temp card. I got it worked out.

Just for anyone else in that boat, a one-trip tag (point a to point b) is $5 from your local county court office where you do your registration and title changes. You do have to have the specific vehicle listed on your insurance, but you don't have to prove you own the car or anything else. You can also get a 30-day tag for $25.
