Default Old Vehicle = $3000

does anyone have a quick link or more info on this..... I heard somewhere that if you have a pre '96 vehicle that you can get $3000 toward a newer vehicle... Any links please..... searched dot and dps.....

i know you have to have had the car for a year, and from what i've heard they just give you $3K towards buying either a new car or one that's 1 year old

hey so i can get rid of my lt1 for 3000 hmmmmm save up for a ls1 plus the 3000 dollars. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm damn i dont want to get rid of it but its so much money.

Time to think about this

No, car has to be within 3 years old, the newest LS1 F-body is 5, also, cant be used on a vehicle over 25K, so no discount on a C6, maybe be able to snag a GTO though.

what what what lol no my lt1. is over 10yrs old. i was goin to sell it put the money in he bank save some money from my new job.

hmmmm what do you guys think of me and a terminator. just got this idea since i can only use the money on cars 04 and up does that mean i could get a cobra hmmmmmmmmmm looking for a cheap one right now still need to get atleast over 7000 before december. i love texas.

lets see i have a 96 Exploder and the tranny is on the way out. sounds like the $3k voucher would work great for me...

find a nice used truck in the Dallas area, and then finance the rest for low $$$. $3k voucher is more than Carmax would give me for the Exploder thats for damn sure...

Anybody know where I can find more info on this or know the requirements. Someone told me it has to be a family of four or more and combined income in the household cant more than $61,000.

Pre-1996 as in 1995 and older...not obdII.
