Doctor??? Allgergy question.
I know that I am allergic to lanolin alcohol (for certain) and I have had problems with tetracycline.
Tonight I had some Miller Lite (which Ive never had an issue with), Mojitos, and we got drunk and put on temporary tattoos. Im feeling that the issue lies either with the Mojitos or the tattoos.
[Im leaning away from the tattoos because the areas surrounding the tattoo is not affected... mainly my face and hands, not my forearm where the tattoo is]
The ingredients in the mojitos are: rum, water, high fructose corn syrup, citric acid, natural flavors, sodium citrate, sodium benzoate, acacia gum, sodium metabisulfite, ester gum, yellow 5, blue 1.
The ingredients in the tattoo are: acrylates copolymer, petrolatum, petroleum distillates, polyethylene terephthalate, linum usitatissimum (linseed) seed oil, glycine soja (soybeen) oil, mineral oil (paraffinum liquidum), cobalt tallate, iron oxides, blue 1 lake, yellow 5 lake, red 7 lake, yellow 6 lake, titanium dioxide.
Im just trying to pinpoint what the problem is..........
Any doctors or those with experience with allergies will be GREATLY appreciated.
another option would be to stay away from mojitos and temporary tattoos
). My guess is that there's some kind of mint put into the drink, since one of the key ingredients of a real mojito is spearmint. Maybe there's a similarity to lanolin? Hence the reaction?
