Test Drive retard

Test Drive retard So yesterday i go to a local dealership because i see a nice red ws6 parked on the lot that i wanted to test drive because i have a v6 and am in the market for an ls1, which i have picked out already, but i just wanted to test drive one. so we go out and drive it... i dont have much experience with driving a standard but i drove it ok... of coarse i stalled it a few times though, man you gotta gas these cars or let out real slow. anyways, i come to stop light... get going and it dies. try to start the car and it wont crank!!! so the guy gets in the drivers seat and thinks its me... little did he find out he couldnt get it started either. eventually after pouding on the gas it starts up and we get it back to the dealership. on the way back the keeps telling me "its just cammin is all its doin." the ****** cam was stock!!! and then i get back and he says ya its got a ws6 in it. i laugh and walk off. sorry i just thought it was funny that this guy did not know a damn thing about the car.

exactly... something was obviously wrong with the car. the cam was def stock though... i mean the car didnt even have a lid on it and all it had was a magnaflow catback

P.S - regarding the retard comment, today I finished my second cam install done in 10 hours. If a retard can install an LS1 cam in 10 hours, there are a lot of retards on this site!

lol retard... your tellin me you cant tell the difference between a cam car and a stock car? pretty much the only this you couldnt tell would be a LS6 cam... oh forgot to mention this guy had headers too so ya i would have been able to tell the difference, and the car died sitting at idle... if the car died at idle then i think i would be able to tell if it had a cam just by sound. and by the way i have a friend with a z06 that has stock catback, stock manifolds, stock everything except for ported/polished stock heads and an aftermarket cam and i can def tell the difference even on stock manifolds and catback...

if anything is wrong then i would guess whoever had the car before had an aftermarket cam and put the stock one back in without retuning the car causing it to die like this... but then again i dont know anything about cars

The WS6 cam comment was retarded by the salesman...the side convo is retarded though...there are aftermarket cams that idle like stock, who knows the guy could of put an LS6 cam in it.
I don't think there are that many car sales men that actually know what they're selling. Look at it this way if you worked at Best Buy would you know what every item you have in the store is or what it has? Like a 1080i HD or a computer with yada yada yada...

some cams on ls1s are hard to tell until you really get on them, they sound stock at idle but get loud at WOT..
as stated earlier stop callin people retards. especially when they have more experience with V8's then you do.. Buy a V8 and then try to call people retards.
